Instrukcja użycia
UEFN ## 1. Installation 1. Unzip `FX_Flambik.zip`. You get a `FX_Flambik` folder. 2. Close UEFN, then copy this folder into `Documents/Fortnite Projects/<YourProject>/Plugins/<YourProject>/Content/`. You can put it in a subfolder, for example `Content/Fire/FX_Flambik`. However, do not split the files apart. 3. Reopen the project. The assets appear in the Content Browser, in the folder where you copied them. > `Flambik_Pack.zip` pack: it contains `Flambik/FX_Flambik` (the fire) and `Flambik/FlambikDeco` (the decor, with `BP_FlambikDeco`). Copy both folders side by side, in the same place as above. ## 2. Place the fire - **Full fire**: drag `BP_Flambik` into the level. It contains the flames, embers and smoke (Niagara), the logs and rocks, an orange light and the crackling sound (spatialized). - **Effect only**: drag `NS_Flambik` into the level. ## 3. Tune the fire (Niagara User parameters) Select the fire in the level. For `BP_Flambik`, select the Niagara component first. In the Details panel, open **User Parameters** and change the values. The result updates live. | Parameter | Default | Effect | |--------------|-------------------|--------| | FireHeight | 1 | Flame height (rising speed) | | FlameWidth | 1 | Flame width (size and spawn area) | | FlameColor | (1, 0.45, 0.05) | Flame color | | FlameBase | 40 | Flame start height (cm) | | EmberRate | 25 | Embers per second | | EmberSize | 1 | Ember size | | SmokeHeight | 1 | Smoke height (lifetime) | | SmokeSize | 1 | Smoke puff size | | SmokeWidth | 1 | Smoke column width | | SmokeBase | 90 | Smoke start height (cm) | A value of 1 is the normal setting: 2 doubles the effect, 0.5 halves it. Each placed fire keeps its own settings. To change the defaults, open `NS_Flambik`, go to **User Parameters** and save. ## 4. If FlameBase and SmokeBase do not match the logs If you scaled the fire, adjust `FlameBase` and `SmokeBase` so the flames start from the logs. Unreal Engine 5.8 ## 1. Installation 1. Unzip `FX_Flambik.zip`. You get a `FX_Flambik` folder. 2. Close the editor, then copy this folder as is into `<YourProject>/Content/`. Expected result: `<YourProject>/Content/FX_Flambik/NS_Flambik.uasset`. Keep the name `FX_Flambik` and do not move files into subfolders, or references will break. 3. Reopen the project. The assets appear in the Content Browser, folder `FX_Flambik`. To change the defaults for every fire, open `NS_Flambik`, go to the **User Parameters** panel and save. In a Blueprint, use `Set Niagara Variable (Float)` on the Niagara component, for example with the name `FireHeight`. ## 4. Other settings - **Light**: in `BP_Flambik`, PointLight component (Intensity 5000, radius 15 m). - **Sound**: the hearing distance is set in `ATT_Flambik`.
